For venue and events technology teams
Venues
Whatever's booked into your space this weekend — a wedding, a gala, a corporate dinner — the same problem shows up at your foyer: guests looking for a seating chart, a queue forming at the door. BlueBox turns your entrance into a self-serve screen guests can search on their own, without your team building anything event-specific.
Your foyer, not your clients' spreadsheet
One screen at the entrance,
a different guest list every night.
A venue rarely controls the guest list — the couple, the planner or the corporate host does. What a venue controls is the entrance. Whichever event is running, the guest arriving at your foyer searches their own name and sees their table or check-in status, whether that event's organizer set things up themselves or through their event planner. Your foyer screen doesn't need reconfiguring event to event — it simply runs whichever event is live.

Search your name to find your table
Hardware or your own screens
Rent a BlueBox,
or run the experience on yours.
A rented BlueBox display runs in full-screen kiosk mode with auto-reset between guests, arriving with delivery, setup and pickup handled for you within BlueBox's service areas. If your venue already has a screen in the foyer or at check-in, the same display experience can run on it via a display link, without additional hardware. Compare formats on interactive event displays.
Beyond seating search
Check-in and arrivals,
visible to your floor staff too.
Guests can check themselves in at the same display used for seating search, and live arrival counts give your floor staff a sense of how full the room is without walking it. None of this touches your own booking or events calendar — it sits alongside whatever system you use to manage the venue itself, and applies purely to the guest-facing experience inside each event.
Frequently asked questions
Is BlueBox software for venues, or a physical screen?
Both. BlueBox is the guest experience — name search, check-in, program and information — and it can run on a rented BlueBox touchscreen display or on a screen already in your foyer or entrance.
Do our clients need to set anything up themselves?
Each event booked into your venue gets its own guest list, seating and design, set up by whoever is organizing that event — a couple, a planner, or your own events team — independent of any other event at the venue.
Can a venue offer this as a standard part of its event package?
Yes. A venue can point clients to BlueBox for their guest list and seating, or run the display experience itself at the entrance, as part of what the venue offers for the night.
How does a display work at a foyer or entrance?
A BlueBox display shows a full-screen kiosk experience with auto-reset between guests, so it stays ready for the next person to search their name or check in without staff resetting it manually.
Can we rent a display for a specific event rather than buying hardware?
Yes, within the areas BlueBox currently serves. Rentals include delivery, setup and pickup, and availability is confirmed before booking.
