Table plans move constantly in the run-up to a wedding — a guest declines, a couple swaps two tables around, a family wants to sit together after all. In BlueBox, each guest holds a table (and an optional seat) that you can reassign at any time, right up until you go live. There's no reprinting, no re-laminating a chart the week of the wedding.

The tables and seating view shows how many guests sit at each table as you build the plan, which makes it easier to notice a table running over capacity before the day arrives.

How does a BlueBox seating chart work for a wedding?

You assign each guest a table, and optionally a seat, in the organizer app. On the day, guests search their own name from their phone or at a BlueBox display and their table is shown to them instantly.

Is there still a printed seating chart?

No printed chart is required. Guests find their table themselves through name search, which avoids the crowd that often forms around a printed board at the entrance.

What if two guests have the same or a similar name?

Find My Seat tolerates typos and, where two guests share a name, shows extra detail so the right guest can pick the right result.

Can we change table assignments the week of the wedding?

Yes. Table assignments can be changed at any point before the event goes live, and guests searching afterwards see the latest table.

Can we see how full each table is while we're planning?

Yes, the tables and seating view shows a per-table guest count as you assign guests, which makes it easier to balance table sizes.
